What Our Donors Say

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I become a sperm donor?

The first step is to complete your online application. When your application is successful, you will be contacted by a member of our team.

How do I qualify to become a sperm donor?

You must be between the ages of 21 and 38 to be considered eligible for donation. You need a Body Mass Index (BMI) within the range of 19 to 28. Being legally allowed to work in the U.S. is another requirement. Both physical and mental well-being are important, requiring potential donors to be in good overall health. Non-smoking for at least six months is necessary, as smoking can have adverse effects on sperm quality. Drug use is also strictly prohibited, and you must have no criminal record. You should be free from any sexually transmitted diseases (STDs)

How is a private matching program different from a sperm bank?

Our sperm donors have the ability to limit their donations to a maximum of six families, giving them greater control over their specimens and the families they assist. Unlike sperm banks, which may allow for non-identified donations and higher numbers of families in a specific area, our donors have the option to make fewer donations or choose a single, exclusive donation.

What are my legal rights as a sperm donor?

Sperm donors do not have legal parental rights, as the intended parents do not desire the donor to have any parental responsibilities towards the child.

How much time does a donation require?

The time required for a sperm donation typically ranges from 3 to 7 days, amounting to about 10-15 hours in total.
